Description
The award-winning author Dmitry Badiarov
Coming from the least privileged background, Dmitry Badiarov has made a name for himself as a core member of La Petite Bande. He created instruments for world-class musicians such as Sigiswald Kuijken, Sergey Malov, and Ryo Terakado.
After becoming redundant in 2006, he discovered his passion for marketing. This took him on stages such as Tokyo Opera City and got him featured in Tokyo MX TV and Nikkei News, among others.
In 2019 he created the Professional A.R.T.I.S.T. Pathway™program that teaches musicians how to be more successful. He started his Elite Luthiers Academy™ where he teaches instrument makers the Old Masters' acoustics, marketing, branding, pricing and sales. He hosted his events online and LIVE in Spain, Portugal and The Netherlands.
As a speaker and entrepreneur, he shared the stage with experts on Social Media Marketing such as Paul O'Mahony, Marcin Marczak, and Chris Rowell at a Digital Marketing conference in London.
In 2019 he became an award-winning speaker on the stage of Andy Harrington's Professional Speakers Academy.
The book On Fine Violin Making, From The Old Masters Legacy To The Future Of The Craft, with the foreword by a New York Times Bestselling Author, shows his journey from being nobody to standing out in an overly competitive industry. And it helps other instrument makers achieve more success through the application of his unique approach known as The Expert Instrument Maker Business Blueprint™ insightfully structured and presented in an entertaining way at this event.
WHO IS THIS BOOK FOR?
This book is for you if you are an instrument maker and you want to discover the Old Master's acoustic concepts. It is for you if you want to design your own rich-sounding models with ease, flow, and freedom. This book is for you if you want to learn how to price for success, how to sell and how to attract more customers to your workshop. The tools, systems and strategies contained in the book and book's bonuses are applicable in individual artist-craftsperson workshops making fine violins, violas, cellos, violoncellos da spalla, lutes, guitars, and almost any other stringed instrument. Musicians too will find a lot of insight that has the potential of changing their lives for the better. And a lot of my customers among musicians and instrument makers already did.
P.S. This book is NOT about how to cut wood or glue the pieces together. The Internet is already full of this information. And this book is not for you if you are Mr or Mrs Sophomania.
