Description
He specializes in bow instruments making collaborating with Master Paolo Vettori & Sons from Florence for two years and attending several master classes arranged by ‘Scuola di Liuteria di Parma’ directed by renowned international violin makers such as Guy Rabut and Hans Nebel.
In 2004 he moves to Modena where he makes and restores bow instruments under the guidance of Master Lorenzo Frignani and then reviving the historic workshop which has been the Liuteria Masetti for a century.
He has been also a member of the “Art and Craft of Modena” and teacher at the Civic Museum.
In 2013 he leaves Modena to move in Umbria where he opens his new workshop where all musicians find a professional and reliable reference.
He's a member of the Association ALI Professionals (Italian Association of Violin Makers Professionals)
The model by which he has been inspired are linked to the classical tradition and an important reference for him is also the second golden age of the Italian Lutherie dating back to the early 900.
