JEL Instruments

I create instruments one or two at a time, highly customized. I dont do production lines of 2-3 models that i repeat. It means i build a lot of different plucked instruments, mandolins, mandolas, ukes, tiples, charangos, different guitars and odd new inventions. My speciality therefore is the flexibility to morph, reconstruct, work with new ideas and drawings and it is not to master the sound of the classical guitar.

My dream job is to build things that dont already exist.

I enjoy working with instruments as installation art which aims to get peoples hands out of their pockets and on to the strings. Anyone can play music if they feel free to do it.
