For over 25 years Sabolovic guitars workshop is passionately specialized and concentrated in handcrafting jazz guitar with hand-carved soundboards and backplates.

All the building process adheres to the historic traditions and is performed by hand at Sabolovic’ guitars workshop based in France.

Each instrument is the result of an original creation and a long elaboration.

Each model has its own identity, sound and aesthetics, it is unique.

Sabolovic Guitars BILLIE - The perfect guitar in our 16′ range of jazz archtops.

It is confortable, ideally balanced and remarkably responsive. Billie offer an incredible mellow and warm tone. It features a solid, hand graduated spruce top and book–matched flamed maple back and sides. Beautiful and refined in every detail, Billie has also its own shape of f-holes and original sculpted tailpiece. It’s sound is beautifully amplified with its suspended benedetti jazz pickup. A multiple binding sublimates the entire instrument.

Sabolovic Guitars DINAH - The perfect traditional jazz guitar in our 17′ range. It is made in the purest tradition of jazz guitar.

The massive table is carved in our best French spruce. The back, the sides and the neck are made in sumptuous maples. With its suspended pickup, its volume discreetly hidden under the pickguard, the soundboard is free of any constraint, and returns to full vibration. Its X bracing offers a soft, sweet and rich tone. The sounds so characteristic of the jazz guitar. Dinah is equipped with the excellent Benedetti pickup that offers an excellent definition of notes even in plated chords The original tailpiece is carved in wood, the solid bridge is adjustable. A multiple binding sublimates the entire instrument

Sabolovic Guitars NINA - more contemporary jazz archtop guitar.

It is equipped with our original “sabolovic” tailpiece, a pickup on the table with its carved wooden ring, an adjustable tune’o’matic bridge. A vertical bracing offers a quick and precise response. Nina is equipped with an excellent jazz pickup Benedetti with a warm and velvety sound, allowing great accuracy of play. It is made with our best French Jura spruce and European maple. A multiple binding sublimates this instrument.

Sabolovic Guitars ESTHER - built with different species of woods that our traditional model and it makes a big difference.

A massive maple table, a massive walnut back gives it a different tone and additional sound versatility. A vertical bracing offers a quick and precise response. Esther sounds are warm and velvety. Two humbuckers on the table enrich the sound possibilities of the instrument. It is equipped with our original “sabolovic” tailpiece, pickups on the table with their carved wooden rings, an adjustable tune’o’matic bridge. A multiple binding sublimates the entire instrument.

Sabolovic Guitars ELLA - big jazz archtop guitar. A real jazzbox.

A generous 17′ body, 3′ depth and a vertical bracing give it a huge acoustic voice and projection. The massive table is carved in our best French spruce. The back, the sides and the neck are made in sumptuous maples. Ella have a warm tone and a fast response. The two Benedetti humbuckers with their incomparable grain allow a dynamic and precise game. It is equipped with our original “sabolovic” tailpiece, pickups on the table with their carved wooden rings, an adjustable solid bridge. A multiple binding sublimates the entire instrument.

Sabolovic Guitars GYPSY HEART - An elegant and an unique design for this acoustic archtop guitar.

A real masterpiece, with its hand-made calligraphy around its heart hole. Gypsy heart has a 16′ body but 3′ depth. With a X braced soundboard, Gypsy heart is powerful and offer a perfect and ideally balanced voice without amplification. The notes are accurate, the attack is frank and clear. Versatile for many styles and in rhythm or solo. Above its hand-made calligraphy around the open heart, gypsy is fitted with a customized suspended pickup especially developped. Gypsy heart is only made with our very selected woods and is a reference from our acoustic models.

Sabolovic Guitars CLUB - Electric archtop guitar 15′

Our Club model has been tailored for many years by the workshop until we have found the best compromise between size and sound. With its 15’ hollow body, the Club is lightweight, compact and very comfortable. The soundboard is specially carved with a spruce massive center- block and the back plate is generously arched which provides a stunning sustain. The two mini humbuckers offer a screamin’ tone for blues-rock or a clean punch for jazz and other styles. The Club is refined in every detail. Wood pickguard and pickup rings, original club logo engraved on the metal headstock plate. Available in rosewood or ebony version.

Sabolovic Guitars PRINCESSE - Electric archtop guitar 17′

Our double cut electric archtop is amazing. Top and back are carved in one of our most beautiful maple. The soundboard is specially carved with a massive center-block which provides a stunning sustain and don’t raise the weight of the guitar. Princesse is incredibly comfortable with its thin neck shape and its 25’ scale. Equipped with 2 special humbuckers from Benedetti, it delivers a wide range of very rich sounds. Pickups rings are carved in massive wood to perfectly fit the table shape. Available in your favorite color.
