I began luthery just by passion when I was teenager. On debut tinkering my own guitars, and later for friends and Customers...

At second half of ninetees, after my studies, I've been working in hitech industries (automotiv, aero,...) as designer. And that's where I met composites technologies

Since around ten years now, I craft guitars and lap steels at my workshop. With always the same goal for musician in the living, on road or stage: good tone and comfort!

That's why San Lorenzo instruments are often really light, to protect musician's back and creativity. I frequently use really stable material as carbon fibers for their outstanding mecanical characeristics, always trying to keep the soul of an efficient simple old school guitar

Of course I do my best to limit enviroment impact of my production, using local wood, biosourced composite componements and techno, recycling cirucuit (carbon, plastic, ...), ...
