Description

Since my late teens, I have been a guitar junkie.

But I crashed into the building of guitars in 2010 when, during a mountain bike ride in the forest, I collided head-on with a motor biker. The motor biker won. My badly broken left wrist, and the attendant prospect of not being able to continue playing guitar, propelled me into a manic project to build a lap steel to deny the worst implications of the injury.

My first build process was magical, enchanting, and only served to compound my love affair with the guitar family of instruments. I steadily moved to building acoustic, electric and experimental hybrid guitars, each deepening the adventure and the exploration that is now possible in the golden era of luthery.

I now build custom commissioned instruments and ground-breaking experimental designs for customers around the world.
