Hand-crafted tenor ukulele featuring:
Top: Teredo holed Sitka Spruce
Back and Sides: North Indian Rosewood
Neck: Mahogany
Inlay: Maple 12th fret inlay
Fretboard: Pau Ferro
Fretboard Radius: Flat
Scale Length: 17”
This ukulele also features a soundport in the upper bout.
This unique tenor ukulele incorporates a “natural” soundhole, utilizing the holes left in the wood by a marine molusc, known as the teredo navalis, that burrowed into this piece of water salvaged sitka spruce from southeast Alaska.
