Whitney School of Guitar Building

For me, guitar building is a culmination of many skills that I’ve learned over my life. The guitar truly is a tangible expression of patience, skill and detail. It affords me an opportunity to be present while fully immersed in transforming raw materials into fine instruments that will be enjoyed by others for many years to come.

Teaching others this art-form is one of my passions and is the very reason we offer a variety of guitar building courses from our workshop here in the Okanagan, BC Canada. As destination location, the Okanagan boasts rolling vineyards, orchards and lends itself as a creative and inspiring oasis for aspiring luthiers and hobbyists alike.

All courses are capped at 1-2 students and are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis so I am able to provide individualized attention to each student thereby providing the best possible experience.
