As you could see, Cyrille Bernard, the founder of Vintage Japan Guitars, is one of the greatest French specialist of Japanese vintage guitars!
Vintage Japan Guitars is a restoration workshop, located in Ile de France and dedicated to the world of vintage Japanese guitars and basses:
After a classical training, Cyrille Bernard, the boss of Vintage Japan Guitars started playing the guitar in 1987 ( Just like us 😉 ). His first electric guitar was a Squier Japan 50’s reissue that he bought in 1993.
For 20 years, Cyrille has been playing on Fernandes, Burny and Greco.
For him, this is surely the most beautiful period of Japanese guitar making, both in terms of lutherie and electronics.
But Cyrille does not only sell this type of instrument. He pampers them before they leave for the houses of their new owners.
In order to respect these wonderful instruments, he makes it a point of honor to restore them and can thus offer them to you with a 3 month warranty.
Cyrille knows the history of these guitars by heart, so don’t hesitate any longer, contact him before buying any of these guitars in classified ads… Because we are sure that his good advices will help you not to make any purchasing mistakes.
You might as well take advantage of Cyrille’s expertise before!
In the coming weeks, as for all the others luthiers for plucked string instruments, luthiers for bowed string instruments, amps & effects makers, wood & supplies dealers, lutherie events, jobs, schools & teachers registered on our website, you will be able to follow our series of mini-interviews dedicated to the fascinating universe of luthiers.
