CRAFTSMANSHIP THROUGH THREE GENERATIONS
Founded on a family tradition of musicians and luthiers, Barnabass embodies three generations of passion for the double bass. Started by Nikolaus Rácz in 1978, perfected by his son Barnabás Rácz, a master double bass maker, and now carried forward by his grandson Adorján Rácz, each instrument reflects the family's enduring pursuit of perfect tone, harmony, and craftsmanship.

OUR MAIN EMPHASIS
We take great pride in using only the finest naturally dried wood for our instruments. Each piece is carefully selected and has been aged for 25 years, ensuring optimal stability and tonal quality. In addition, we offer a truly rare and special type of wood that is over roo years old. Carefully preserved, this exceptional material is ideal for those seeking a unique and timeless instrument.
