I have been hand-building custom carved top instruments (mandolin and mandolin family) in my small one-man shop in Tennessee since 2012.  My passion for the mandolin and my experience with other custom-built instruments prompted me to try my hand at building a mandolin for myself.  Once it was completed, I was hooked.  I started taking orders for custom mandolins and never looked back.  I love building traditional mandolins as well as larger-scale instruments such as mandolas, octaves, mandocellos and guitars.
