Gerhard Schoepp - Woodpecker (Dulcimer) Verified listing

May i introduce - the Woodpecker! This little dulcimer started as a recycling project and has now become a standard model in my line of instruments. Thanks to the diatonical fretting and open tuning it is very easy and intuitive to play.

Different woodtypes are always possible - please ask! The instruments shown here are made entirely from local wood maple, walnut, cherry and elm. The tops are local alpine spruce. The necks are made from alder, the fretboards and bridges are smoked oak and plum. Gotoh tuners, bone nut & saddle, titanium trussrod. Regular guitar strings, 011 - 015 - 023 - 032 - 015
