SOLD - Treble Viol after original Johann Karp 1730 in the music museum Stockholm. Back and ribs in contrasting walnut and sycamore stripes. Bone and ebony edging to front and to snakewood veneered fingerboard and tailpiece. Carved head with pierced pegbox based on the original but for the face which is after a statue of Aphrodite. Ebony pegs. String length 36.5cm
