Roadrunner Guitars Interview 2 Custom Made Guitar Parts

The people who follow you know that you create custom-made guitar parts. Recently we saw on social networks that you have created a series of bridges from aluminium blocks, can you explain how you manage to adjust the tuning which seems much less simple than on traditional bridges?

Indeed for several years I have been creating custom-made guitar parts…

Initially I only produced and reproduced these parts for the unique purpose of restorations and repairs…

With time I decided to make bridges for my creations as well. Most of the time they are produced by hand and can also be adapted to existing instruments.

Concerning the bridges I reproduce the intonation line found on the adjustable bridges, once adjusted. I therefore produce bridges for wound or unwound G, knowing that the intonation of this string, depending on its “structure” changes at the intonation setting.
