Theo, what part takes the classical guitar in your work?
It always has been important to me and finally I found my way what my personally favorite sound is.
However I find the classical market very confusing and often dominated by some factors that really do not please me. So therefore it is a bit more in the background of my regular work.
But it has been most important in the first 20 years of my work.
And I have a Concertura Concert for Sale which has been owned for three years by the famous Rovshan Mamedkuliev with whom I had an endorsement deal.

Theo, what woods are being used in your Classical Guitars?
Back and sides are beautiful Brazilian Rosewood guitar with Cites paper of course as the wood I used were over 100 years old.
Top is outside Cedar and inside Spruce also really old stocked woods.

Theo, can you tell us what you consider to be the most important thing when you design a guitar?
First of all and most important are the direct seen shapes and contour lining of an instrument.
I can spend many days finding the perfect lines that create the body shape.
Next point will be the deepness of the sides depending on the sound you want to recreate.
The bracing types I use are really traditional As I like the sound of traditional guitars.
If a customer wants I play sometimes with elegant inlay designs but never overdo it.
