Petko Petkov Interview 1 Tell us about your background?
I’ve been handcrafting string instruments since 1999, ever since I finished a five-year apprenticeship with the celebrated Bulgarian luthier Vladko Naidenov.
At the age of 92 he is still working in his workshop in Sofia, although these days he works mostly as a restorer.
Before getting involved in the secrets of the violin making I was dealing with retail.
For more than 20 years the violin making has been my life and my main activity.
I am happy to have a job that brings me real happiness and satisfaction.
