Description
I have been building and repairing banjos and all manner of stringed instruments since I was in high school, in the late 1970s. Yikes, that was a long time ago.
I have been very inspired by instruments from the "Golden Age" of the late 1920s to the early 50s.
Because of that my instruments tend to be styled toward the "vintage" sound, feel, response and weight.
I'm also open to modern conveniences like truss rods that work, sound ports, beveled armrests, harder and larger fret wires to mention a few.
I like doing custom inlay to get a truly personal touch on a custom instrument.
